| Esta ave es un habitante com�n en el bosque cerca del litoral de aguas interiores. Su presencia se detecta desde lejos, aun sin verlo, debido al caracter�stico "tic - tic" seco e intenso que emite y que semeja al sonido que se poduce al golpear dos piedras.
