It is also known as Remolinera or Pilot. It lives close to rivers, creeks and coasts of lakes. It jumps from rocks to rocks in food search, even taking out leaves of the water to eat the little worms that lives hidden under them. The name pilot has been given because of the white fringe that is similar to pilot's glasses. It establishes its nest in a natural hole among the rocks, or in caves made by himself. |
